Our Story

Callister Musico Insurance Group Inc. had it’s beginnings in 1953 when the brokerage was started by Herb Callister.  Mr. Callister built his brokerage business around the needs of his clients.  He was joined in the brokerage by his son Paul who eventually purchased the brokerage in 1985 and who remains important to the brokerage today.  Paul continued on with his father’s foundation of providing high quality personalized service.  In order to stay competitive and continue to be in a position to respond to client needs the brokerage merged with another local brokerage that was started by Bert Hoogendam in 1975.

Today, the brokerage continues to be locally owned and operated.  We continue to expand the products and services available to our clients.   In 2004 Craig Musico joined the brokerage with the responsibility of developing the commercial and life divisions. With 15 years of claims adjusting experience, Craig brings additional client benefit and dimension to the brokerage.
